The purpose of the Confirmation Ministry of Peace Lutheran Church is to help young people grow in their Christian faith and become active disciples of Jesus Christ. Students begin Confirmation in 7th Grade and get confirmed in the fall of 10th Grade.

Students learn alongside of their peers in fun and engaging ways that encourages questions and a deeper understanding of the bible, discipleship, and their Lutheran tradition.

7th & 8th Graders begin each night in "Large Group" where the topic for the night is introduced. We often play games and engage in experiential learning here as well.

Students spend time each week in an assigned "Small Group" consisting of 3-6 youth and an adult leader. Here they get to dive deeper into learning and growing in their faith.

During 9th grade, students participate in "Peace University", which is a program that integrates them into High School Ministry while allowing them to explore different aspects of the church and who God made them to be.

All students participate in quarterly service nights, where we share God's love in different ways out in the community.

We believe God has called us to live in community with one another. We celebrate this with fun "Fellowship Nights" a few times throughout the year.

We celebrate and affirm the promises that were made in baptism. Students participate in a fall retreat and complete a faith project.
